Dealership Spray in Bedliner with UV Protection?

I want a spray in bedliner for my Mav before I ship it to Hawaii from California. I have spoken to Line-X and they have an upgrade of a UV protector added for an extra $100 +/-.
The dealership has a spray in liner for about the same price as the Line-X with no option of UV additive. I have asked the dealership if there spray in liner has the UV protection already in it. My salesperson said yes. But, I am not convinced. Ford has only one spray in liner to choose from. Does anyone have any info about this? Thank you!

Totally agree but then you don’t want to risk your truck bed getting a sun burn.

Maybe clean bed annually and Apply something like this. If you have bed covered UV should not be problem.

Ended up with linex with UV protection. Ford could not convince me their protection had UV coating., $750 out the door.

Probably a wise choice, as I’m pretty sure a dealer just outsources to whatever local aftermarket accessories shop near by. They likely don’t spray right at the dealer (at least not at ours, it’s a tiny dealer!).

Aah-ha! That explains it.

The SIBL I'd ordered somehow got passed by in the paper shuffle. When I was trying to have the dealer (who is an hour and a half away) add it back in I was told it was too late to change now. They said I could have the SIBL done in Colorado Springs, which is a good three hour drive away. That will take at least a day of my time and the out of pocket expense, but I was not willing to cancel the order and start from scratch. Kind of a bummer.
