Uncomfortable seat pitch / angle - solutions?

The great seat lift is complete! I brought one of the bolts to Ace, I was informed the taper on the first few threads matches a taper at the bottom of the female threads to lock it in. Those guys really know their stuff! I bought hardened bolts that were 1/2" and 1" longer than the factory bolts and a box of washers, total bill was $35.
Since I was lifting the seats so far I loosened the front bolts, this helped a lot. I used electrical tape to hold the washers together which also helped a lot. On the passenger side I went up just over 1/2", which made the Mrs very happy. It wasnt enough for me, I ended up just over an inch on the drivers side. Glad I got the different length bolts! Since the bolt heads were smaller than the originals I also used a washer under the bolt.
I am very happy with the result, these seats will never win an award for their comfort but it is much improved. I am going to live with it for a week and see if I need to tweak it up or down a bit, once it is dialed in I will add some locktite to the threads.
My only complaint is there is now exposed blue steel visible under the seat track, it isnt terribly noticeable though.

Once you decide how much you want to lift the seat, I would consider using something other than washers for the final mounting. I would be concerned with the washers lack of strength and support in case of any side loading that would occur in a collision.

After taking it for a drive last night there is no going back, the comfort for both of us is much better. Here is the pic of the factory bolt vs the replacement, there is quite a difference so a washer under the bolt is necessary. I have no idea on the hardness comparison of the two, I did get the replacements in the hardest bolts they had. If both shear in a collision I doubt it would be survivable anyway.
Thanks ABTremor for the spacer link, those are a great option. If I still had access to a machine shop I would make some spacer blocks with a larger surface area. As it is, the seat seems well supported, but next time I am at Home Depot I am going to see if I can come up with any ideas. At the very least I am going to add fender washers at the top and bottom to increase the contact area.

I finally got around to adding the fender washers, with them the contact area to the brackets and floor is almost the same as when the brackets are bolted directly to the floor. I ended up with exactly an inch on the drivers side and half an inch on the passenger. I may change the washers to the spacers suggested by ABTremor, but I am happy for now. There is no issue with the stability of the seat, it is rock solid and there is a very noticeable difference in comfort.
