Turbo flutter? People normally pay extra for that!

You're going to need to be a bit more specific though.

All mine does is pull hard. If you have some ramps or wood blocks maybe get under there and inspect your exhaust for wiggles or leaks. Could also be worth it to check your spark plugs.

I would bring it to my Ford dealer. Engine Driveshaft warranty should go out to 60,000 miles. Don't wait just in case it is something. My Escape with the same engine just hit 60,000 last week, but I bought as Ford Certified, so mine goes out to 100,000.

My 2024 Lariat Maverick has been on order since last August. At this point, hoping it rolls to at 2025. Thinking I may even cancel and wait and order a 2025. Wanting for the 4K towing option. Escape tows 3500. I tow 2 snowmobiles in a clamshell trailer... Want to upgrade to a Hybrid trailer so need the extra towing capacity.

Hi Joe! I can look into your Maverick's concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Maverick's VIN?

God, please don't tell me stuff like this. I love my Maverick but still making considerations for future purchases that can tow 4000+.

Really loving the looks of the 2025 Ford Explorer, which seems to get 50/50 Love/Hate reviews from owners and automotive reviewers. Does anyone own an Explorer from say, 2019 forward and what you can tell me about your ownership/driving experience?

I have a weird forthcoming situation that is going to allow me to pay off my Maverick way sooner than anticipated and my plan is to hold onto my Mav so long as its mechanically reliable. I'm trying to find that balance between towing capacity and affordability. Really pissed Toyota decided to change the engines in the 2024+ Tacomas and now the 4Runner is going on the chopping block as well with their new 4 cylinder turbo. I'm placing my bets this is going to be a colossal fuckup for Toyota.
