I had just got through shopping at our local grocery store, when I went to put the groceries inside the cab. The door unlocked like usual, when I grabbed the driver's door handle, an I loaded in all of the groceries.
When I went to turn it on, nothing. No power to anything. No lights (interior or exterior), no horn, no ignition, nothing. Totally dead.
My wife came and picked me up (only 10min away from home) and I had her bring some tools. I checked the battery under the rear seat, 12.5v. Checked all of the fuses in the passenger footwell, all is good. Checked power to that distribution block, it has power. So my guess is a module or the ECU failure, but that's just a guess.
So now I am waiting for the tow truck so it can be towed to my house. All of the dealerships around here are closed on Sundays, plus they are all closed on Monday as well. It'll have to be towed to my home for now until I can get it to the dealer. This is my eighth Ford vehicle and this is the first time I've ever had any of them breakdown on me.
I'm a little frustrated but I know things could always be worse. Just thought I'd pass this along. I'll try and keep you all updated on how things progress.
