Trailer view without a trailer?

Has anyone figured out how to use trailer view (blind spot camera on center screen when you use your turn signals) without a trailer connected? I didn’t even realize it was an option until I pulled my boat the other day and now I would like it to work all the way time. 2026 Lariat 2.0 ecoboost

Plug a remote, wireless trailer brake controller, etc. into the 7-pin connector. Something that would make the truck sense a trailer is plugged in..

"To make a truck think a trailer is plugged in, plug a 7-to-4 pin adapter or a dedicated trailer wiring tester into the truck's 7-way receptacle. These devices create a low-power connection that tricks the vehicle's computer into sensing a trailer, which disables reverse sensors, auto start-stop, and blind-spot monitors."

How about you plug in an electric trailer hitch cover? The system will think you are pulling a trailer.

I was hoping there was a way to turn it on with FORScan rather than just fooling it with a trailer plug. I think fooling it that there’s a trailer connected all the time will lead to other things changing unintentionally.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a way to turn this on for a 2025 with the 360 camera?

I found this for an F-150. I will have to hookup Forscan on mine and look around.
