Trailer hitch receiver backup light

The backup lights don’t light up behind the truck very much.has anyone tried a led light kit that will mount in the trailer hitch.would like it to be like the high beam distance on the front lights.

I tried an additional brake light there and it gave me light error messages on my dash.

If you plug something into the trailer light plug, doesn't it mess with Tow Mode?

I got a set of wireless tow lights. Plugs into my 7 pin connector. Turned off Blind Spot Monitor and my reverse warning, but stayed in normal drive mode.

Don't plan on using full time, but I have a loaded rack covering the middle brake light so I wanted these for just in case.

Plug and play, zero errors. No splicing or tapping. Maybe the one with brake lights might think ya got a trailer but reverse and running light is fine

Exactly, however the OP stated he wanted something similar to the front high beam lights...

The Back-up lights on my G2 Raptor are weak, I added a set of blacked-out S1's that are hardly noticeable but make a big difference when backing up..,,....
