does the mavericks with ecoboost and towing package run much faster in 1/4 mile than one without it.thinking about giving my daughter mine and getting a new one.or even 0 to about 75 maybe.only getting the towing for a little more get up and go😎

I think it'd come more to driver skill and reaction time and that any difference on a Maverick with a towing package versus without would be negligible at best. Hell maybe with the towing package would be worse since the vehicle has more static weight.

I've heard the AWD hybrid is the quickest but could be wrong so if you're going for speed then maybe look at that w/ the tow pkg
The AWD EB is about 2-3 tenths quicker 0-60 than the AWD Hybrid. The tow package for the EB has a lower gear ratio, in theory it should be slower than without it.

Should be faster acceleration with the lower gear ratio. And faster 1/4 mile times.
Several years back I would go to the 1/4 mile drag track and run my modified 1998 Buick Regal. 12.7 was my PB.

The AWD EB is about 2-3 tenths quicker 0-60 than the AWD Hybrid. The tow package for the EB has a lower gear ratio, in theory it should be slower than without it.
IIRC the 2025 AWD Mavericks with the 2.0 EB's have the same 3.81 axle ratio[ even without the tow package] as the older AWD Mavericks with the 2.0 EB and the tow package have.

No I think the EB AWD is 5.9 vs 6.7 on the hybrid AWD from 0 to 60.

More than that I think the EB AWD is 5.9 and the hybrid AWD is 6.7 from 0 to 60. If the OP is looking for more get up and go the EB is the option but may use more fuel depending on city, highway or combined driving or the heavy foot the driver has.

I do agree on the gear ratio on older models not sure if the gear ratio is still different with the optional Tow Package. I didn't see it on the 25 and didn't look on the 26 model. The lower gear ratio may hurt in the long range but helps taking off in the hole. So possible may be what you described in your post.

I will add that my 24 with the optional gear ratio you can visibly see the difference in estimated fuel economy between 60, 70, 75 and 80. The sweet spot is 50 to 60 mph. 70 can be noticable if hills but 75 and 80 it's going down.

Why do we need a v6 when the transmission can't handle a 2 liter 4 cylinder? The motor makes more than enough power to break stuff, the trans needs the upgrade, not the motor.

Yes, the tow package at one time came with a lower gear ratio, but it is somewhat overated here. It was not enough different to be really significant. 3.81:1 vs. 3.63:1 is a 5% difference. In most cases, when a manufacturer offers an optional ratio, it is usually a 10-15% difference in ratio. 5% does make a difference, but not one that you're likely to notice.

I swear I felt my 2023 EB without the tow pkg had more acceleration off the line than my 2025 EB with tow pkg.
