I have been trying to find some tow mirrors that would work for my 2025 Maverick and all I can find are the ones that strap on. I spoke with Suma performance this morning and they said if at least 10 people would request those mirrors they would start production of them. So, if anyone is interested in some better tow mirrors, please let Suma Performance know.

I was looking for some that slide on and clamp versus the ones that are strapped. I tried the strap ones and you cannot keep them fixed on the mirror or else I’m not strong enough. I had the snap ones on my 150 and they worked fine.

The Suma mirrors are parabolic for a wider field of view. They're pretty useful, but can't be considered real "towing mirrors"

Towing mirrors have to be mounted farther outwards so you can see what's behind you when towing a wide trailer.

Exactly, they need to protrude outwards so the driver can look back, past their trailer.

The prior post reminded me of a good one we had on our last F150, I think they were called ZapnSnap...something like that.

They are great mirrors, fairly shake free, depending on the wind and rough road conditions of course.

Easy to slide on and just snapped in place with no straps. Even had thin buffer straps inside to reduce chaffing on your mirror...sure hope they come out at Canadian Tire, where I got my last set...and a set before that for a prior vehicle.

If they put one out, I will be getting a set!

Another good place to look for tow mirrors can be a local RV store, but they usually stock stuff for heavier trucks.

Those interested, could always contact the supplier/manufacturer and see if there are any plans for such a product for the Maverick.

As always, bang on as those are the ones!

Good idea to contact them...I should shoot them an email.

Have a great Maverick day out there!

I just got one of these.
Dare I say it works BETTER than expected!?

High Definition video picture.
Night vision.

Magnetic (very strong good for 100+ MPH)

Solar recharging - totally wireless.
Less than 5 minute install.
Can be on full time or just while backing.

They say it works 33 feet.
In my backyard it works over 100 feet.
Impressive.
Low cost.
Move it to any vehicle in seconds.
Take it out when not towing.

Better than mirrors?

You'd think something like this would be cross compatible Ranger to Maverick.

There are some same parts used.
For the Zap & Snap to work as well as possible and most importantly tightly/safely, they have to be designed to fit the mirror exactly.

If it isn't fittingly as tightly, it would be shaking and flying off.

That said, I haven't looked at/measured/compared my 2025 Mav mirror to an older model Mav mirror or Ranger mirror.

Investigation/verification is required.

Good find! An excellent alternative and far better than nothing for sure.

Myself, I would stick with the old school mirror if at all possible...but I can change, if I have to...

I already have muscle/mind memory for scanning truck guages looking for trouble indications (okay, also our super fuel mileage, how I am doing and DTE!), side mirror drivers side, rearview mirror, then passenger mirror, interspersed with looking forward, then way in the distance forward. Repeat in different sequence to keep the mind fresh.

And look around to see the beautiful world we live in.

I like the side mirrors as well for all trailers as with it I can check my trailer tires both on the highway at speed as I know the deflection on my sidewalls and glance look for any change...this is very important when towing a trailer with 2 sets of tires per side!

And the way I like to have mine set up is also helpful to ensure my right hand turns are wide enough to not kerb-swipe or kerb-bounce with the trailer tires...they are part of my all-around situational awareness tools.

All the mirrors are used and have a job to do is what I am saying, "for myself and myself only".

A shameless plug for my towing thread follows...

Sorry about drifting off into general towing info, I will try to save that for my thread on "So You Want to tow a trailer, eh?". Might need to add a post from this to it.

2025 Lariat mirrors have bumps underneath for the 360 degree cameras, so ideally they would design the clip-ons with that in mind ...

I have to look up their contact info, and will include this point on my request!

Thanks,
