I bit the bullet and got a set of the Suma side mirror replacements. (Note they are listed under Bronco Sport / Maverick as they are the same).
Overall I'd give these a 3/5 and would recommend you wait until there is something more fitting for the $/value. I found a 5% off coupon which brought it down to $208 delivered (Grey, BLIS + heated) and I'm left a bit wanting to say the least. At this price point I feel like it should be better built, and to a lesser degree, not come with SUMA branding in your face (this is discussed elsewhere, and i suspected going in it would come with the branding)
Install: maybe took me 30-ish minutes, but could likely repeat in <15 now that i know what i am doing. Once you get a handle on which way tilting the mirror gives you the most access and which tabs to try and pry you really just have to commit to man handling the OEM mirror a little to get it loose.
Each corner of the OEM mirror (~1:30. 4:30, 7:30, and 10:30 on a clock, or literally the 4 corners) have a set of 2 clips you can loosen. I was only able to tilt the mirror and loosen one set of clips (2 of the 8 total) before I gave it a little pry and the others came off themselves. I used the 90 degree version of one of these.
Once you have the OEM mirror off there are three wires to remove. Two for the heating element which I labeled with tape to keep track of which plugged in where (although i am guessing you could switch them and it'd still work) and one for the BIS. All three have some molding/clips to hold them together on the OEM mirror.
The bad & the ugly: right away I noticed that the Suma mirror is much less 'advanced' in its construction and is missing a lot of the OEM clips and structural plastic to give it rigidity, route wires, and most importantly hold the damn wires coming from the truck to the mirror itself. The suma mirror has NO clips to hold the heated mirror connectors or structure to route the BLIS cable around the outside. What this means to you is the connectors are barely held together. I had to jerry rig some tape to give some semblance of connecting force to the heating element connectors. Without this these would simply come undone when you go to install the mirror.
Once you sort out the connectors installing the SUMA mirrors themselves is, somewhat, straight forward. You really have to use some force to get the 4 corners of the new mirror to latch onto the 4 corners of the truck. I quickly got may 2/3 corners to latch on easily, but had to push uncomfortably hard to ensure all 4 were in place. YMMV.
After i got both mirrors installed i noticed my BLIS connector also had a defect on the driver side where the SUMA side of the connector was loose causing a fault when i went to test them. This was a simple enough fix, but led to the next issue...
It appears SUMA uses a flat 'base' for the mirror and then glues on a circular ring of clips which connects it to the mirror housing/motor/tilt. In theory this is fine, but this makes any attempt to remove the mirror with any amount of force cause this glued junction start to come loose, like when you need to fix a loose BLIS connector, or perhaps a taped heating element connector...
Post-install the mirrors do look good. I took a quick drive and they certainly open up what you can see. The convex shape does make your point of reference look a little different than you're used to, but I'm thinking it will be well worth it. I went with the 'grey' version as i have ~35% tint on my front windows and didn't want them to be too dark. Grey is a tad darker than OEM, but still seems like they will work well in the dark. BLIS + heating seemed to work fine although with the aforementioned issues with the connectors i am certainly holding onto my OEM mirrors incase these go bad...
OEM mirror with a decent amount of structural plastic on the back. You can see the two plastic clips next to the two gold heating element connectors in the top left. Along the left and around to the bottom you can see Ford has some bending plastic clips to route/hold the BLIS cable out of the way.
SUMA mirror. Note the absence of clips to hold the heating element wires... (this is the opposite side mirror from the pic above).
Slightly closer look at the suma mirror:
Result of the missing routing tabs on the SUMA mirror is the BLIS cable just sort of hangs there and can be seen from the side:
