Slightly above 100 MPH while passing, NB I-15 on my way to Las Vegas. Typical traffic out here is between 80 and 90 MPH.

Got passed by CHP once going 85, makes me think they’re looking for speeders going 20+ over the posted limit. 20+ over the speed limit is reckless driving, 2 points vs. 1 point on your record.

CHP got me on I 10 for 10 over. Cheaters used an airplane. Not fair. We need our own planes to keep track of them.

I was cruising at 75, then gunned it to pass this Colorado. When I glanced down I was already at 97. I was really surprised it went up that fast. That's as fast as I went though. Everyone asks what it feels like to drive it. I say it feels like a useful gokart. It just feels right.

Cruising at 80mph on a freeway is comfortable. No idea what the absolute top speed might be.

Hi all. I am waiting on my Maverick hybrid order like the rest. I ordered June 11th. No build date yet. I have a question for those that have their eco boost mavericks, and those that will get the hybrids before I. What is the top speeds y’all have reached? Top comfortable driving speed? How well does it handle higher speeds?

I’ve gone 109 MPH on a slight down hill straight away in my old 21 FX4 4K Tow. But I’m commenting cuz I saw a video of some dude going 220 km/h which is somehow 136mph

Actually speed governer is 109mph. I was on some new access road by where we have windmills at. Absolutely not a soul out that way except sheriffs. see below for proof MPG was also abysmal at this speed. I think i glanced at like 8mpg.

And promptly 10 minutes later... First ticket in 15 years and first moving violation ever. I had maybe 400 miles on the truck, less than 24 hours of ownership I have had plenty of fast cars in my life and out of all of them, I get a ticket in the slowest one.

In sport mode I was about to go 113 but that’s all it had but it felt like it had more to go it just couldn’t in 8th gear it stops you at 5k rpm I think or something.

I did that this morning on sport mode and slight incline. Spirited driving next to a focus. But yes you can achieve higher speeds if you tune it and have the limiter removed.

In sport mode I was about to go 113 but that’s all it had but it felt like it had more to go it just couldn’t in 8th gear it stops you at 5k rpm I think or something.

Yes it kept bouncing back from 5k
Oh well, I didn’t buy it to be a dragster or win any land speed records lol.
It’s nice to know it has the pep to pass someone in a pinch.
