June 23rd order still unscheduled… I’m done with the Maverick and Ford too if not scheduled today. I live in “the heart of Ford country” and actually chose to shop local. Just for fun, I drove by the new battery plant location yesterday to check progress-7 mile trip. I’m gonna have to settle for a Nissan but if my Maverick ever gets built or scheduled…I’ll sell my house or one of my Chevelles or my first born to buy it to keep my dealership from taking possession. I feel like there is no reason a June order should be left to rot. Dealer is blaming Ford … Ford is somewhat blaming dealer … then the blame shifts to the “computer scheduling system”… then let’s blame the commodities. I’ve offered to drop any options to get scheduled. Easily 20 phone calls and emails to no avail. I realize it may take some human interaction… but, I feel like no one has the skill or the will… hence I’m left to hurry up and wait…. Even the squeaky wheel theory has failed

Good luck and cross your fingers. It is frustrating to see order placed after yours getting built. Today might be a winner for you and maybe me.

I sympathize with you as I ordered my truck on June 19th. Luckily my truck was built and shipped on 12/31. I was very close to walking away and buying another vehicle. The fact that vehicles with order dates two or three months after mine with the same accessories as mine are being built and shipped before mine makes no sense at all. Customer service has gone out the window with a lot of these companies. I’m hoping that my Maverick will come before the end of the month are we are now going on 14 days since it has been shipped. It is going from Mexico to New York so I understand it takes time, but if there continues to be delays that exceed past this month I will have to consider moving on as well, as I need a second vehicle. I ordered early in June in anticipation of getting this vehicle before 2022. I would have moved on if I was in your shoes. Good luck today.

There comes a point when we should reflect on our behaviors. Not ideal but things aren’t that bad. Do you want the truck or not? It will get built soon enough. You dealer will make money regardless of the truck coming in. Who cares really if you walk? I have waited since June 18th and walked from a bad deal. You can choose to live today or harp on the last 6 months of waiting. Most of which you knew you would have to do.

I wonder if calling actually might have hurt your build date. I know they have to have a place to take notes on customer accounts and after seeing 20 notes someone might have actually pushed the build date. Not saying this happened or even if it is possible but if someone had the power they might for the ones that are making trouble. I mean 20 phone calls is pretty excessive.
20 contacts… emails phone calls to dealer and Mav
