They will fit perfectly with no modification or lift. This is a 245/60/18 Toyo.

Don't buy Douglas brand tires. I have them on my Focus and they hydroplane quite easily. On dry pavement I spin the front tires without trying to. They are okay when brand new but at 1/2 tread mine started to spin quite easy in water streaming across the road. I have to remember to lift off the throttle when encountering big puddles and water gushing across the road. I will go with Mastercraft tires the next time.
Fyi Mastercraft tire was made by Cooper tire co. Cooper tire Co has been purchased by Goodyear co.

Just out of curiosity, I always like to look at the manufacture date on the tire. Not that there is anything we can do about it, but it is nice to know if the tire has been sitting for 2 years or 2 weeks. Hopefully, all four have the same manufacture week.

I would like to know how you change from a 225/65/17 to a 245/60/18? How do you keep the tire on the rim if the tire is now 18 inches instead of 17 inches? Don't you increase the chance that the tire will slip off the rim if you have a larger size inner diameter? Or do you have to purchase new rims?

Check the mfg date on them. Tires have a recommended life span of 6 years. If they are already a few years old it cuts down are their useful lifespan.

I’m thinking of painting my 18” Mav wheels when I buy new tires. Don’t like the black and chrome look. I’ll probably go with a gunmetal or dark gray color as my mav is cactus gray. I don’t do much off roading and not a lot of snow and ice here so running stock Michelins that still have about 30K miles left on them according to my tire guage measurements. Already have 29k miles on them and guage show about half original tire tread left before replacing them at 3/32nds.
40 West out of Memphis doesn't need snow or ice to be treacherous, probably the worst stretch of highway I've ever been on besides 69 North before they redid it.

I-40 is bad and don’t get me started on Memphis. I don’t think anyone pays any attention to speed limits. Just went to Southaven Friday and was doing 63 in a 55mph stretch of interstate to try to keep from getting ran over. when a car come flying up on my rear bumper switched lanes nearly taking the rear bumper off my mav and flew past me to almost take my front bumper off pulling back in front of me.

Good to hear the 245 fits just fine on a mav with no lift. I’m planning on putting a set of 245/55r18 on mine as soon as my original tires wear out. I’m going with 245/55 r18 as the 55 profile won’t change the circumference of the tire so the speedo and odometer are still accurate. A 245/60r18 would be just over a 3% change in speedo and odometer. That would mean if speedo showed 70 you’d really be doing 72 and a tad. And odometer and mpg would be off by same 3%. If you drove 100 miles you really traveled 103 mile and if you calculated the mpg by using odometer readings or computer a 30mpg would really be 31 mpg.

Exactly, new rims. I run my 18’s for the summer and the 17’s in the winter. If you compare them on the calculator they are very close.
