Mavericks Getting Pulled Over????

OK folks, since I have nothing better to do while I wait for Ford to build my truck, I want to know: who has gotten pulled over by the cops in your Mav? And if you did, did the cop want to know all about the truck and then let you go because it's so cool?

Yeah, I had seen that thread. Technically he didn't get pulled over but the cop definitely liked his Maverick!

I have an XL Hybrid in Erie, PA, delivered 1-07. Two weeks ago, in heavy snow, an Erie City police car followed me into a parking lot. The officer just wanted to talk about the vehicle. He said that he was thinking about ordering one. I said great things about the truck and directed him to my dealer.

I actually got pulled over 2 days ago for an expired inspection sticker on the vehicle I am planning to trade in. Explained to the officer I had a new Ford Maverick ordered and did not expect to be waiting this long. He let me go with a warning! So while being in a Maverick did not get me out of a ticket, just the fact of ordering one did!

If I were to get pulled over for a BS session about the Maverick, I would be friendly (getting mad at a cop usually isn't a good plan), but you better believe I would be reporting it.

Before I get flamed - Note my use of the words "pulled over." In a parking lot or wherever, I'd BS with the cop, just like with anyone else.
