Tire Shopping Turns Into Tire Swapping

I was browsing Facebook Marketplace for new rims and tires when I stumbled across a set listed for $900. After reaching out, the seller agreed to my offer of $500, which was awesome! While chatting, we realized that swapping his set for mine could work perfectly for both of us since he wanted to lower his truck, and I was looking to raise mine.

It couldn't have worked out better! He even went the extra mile and swapped them for me in his driveway, saving us time, hassle, and, more importantly, money. The lighter grey rims and rugged tires give my Maverick a more aggressive, truck-like appearance, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I had 18" Mav BAP wheels that I sold after I bought 18" Bronco wheels. I just liked one better than the other.

Swapping 18s for 17s gives you some taller sidewall options. No doubt the fella you traded with appreciates the lower profile for his lowered look. Nice it worked out that way. I was hoping to swing something similar w8th someone, but only style, not size.
