haas anyone found, due to the "tire popper" a tire size that is ultimately too large to be used as a spare?

new truck (decided to go with an xlt rather than lariat) is coming with 225/67r17 & I'm seriously considering goint up to a 245/60r17

You might be surprised. Looking at the MY25 Order Guide, the "conventional" size spare is now a 215/70R17, which is 29.7" in OD. Much larger than the 22-24 spare.

Me thinks they've moved/revised the popper.

There are eleventy hundred thousand threads on spare tire upgrades, but zero of them can be guaranteed to apply to MY25 until someone has a truck in hand.
