Tightening Vinyl Gator SFX

There should be a reversible block on the front of the drivers side rail. It is numbered 1 through 4. By flipping the block, you can adjust the tension put on the cover. I don't recall if 1 or 4 is the tightest setting, but you get the idea.

I am going to look at my soft tri-fold tonight to see if it has this. It's the Ford accessory.

*Update*

For those curious how it went. I contacted Extang a day or so after the post and in about a week they got back to me. Asked me to attach a photo or two about the issue, stating the problem and other normal stuff about the purchase (name, SN#, part #, invoice, etc). After that they got back to me pretty quickly, apologized and sent out a new replacement unit. Arrived in 3 days once shipped so that’s a plus too. FedEx just dropped it off but I’ll install it tomorrow to let you know how it works out. Thanks for those to pointed me in the right direction.
