The day has arrived!!! Received the call from my dealer that my Hot Pepper Red Mav Lariat Lux has been delivered. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow at noon (after doing the dance routine with the salesman, finance guy and extended warranty person). After following this forum since early this year I've built quite a file of pertinent and useful information regarding what dance moves to use at the finish line of this journey. 236 days from order to delivery. Special thanks to all the expert railway and trucking trackers for the keen insights useful in navigating the process. It was fun while it lasted since I'm retired and didn't have an urgent need for the Mav. Also, thanks to Long McArthur Ford and Tim Bartz for his most exceptional Q&A live stream sessions. He is the Man!!! I'll post pix tomorrow.

What was your ship date? On the tracker did a date populate in... "final preparation"... ?

Everyone from Florida is invited! Really hoping the Maverick gets here by this weekend. Apparently Jacksonville is the drop station for ALL Ford dealerships in FL, if you can imagine what a fuster-cluck that going to be tomorrow morning when the train rolls in. At least it's in the same state as me.

Oh wow!!! Imagine all of the Florida MTC comrades showing up at Gary Yeomans Ford - Daytona Beach for the very festive occasion. GYF will probably have pizza and soft drinks for everyone. Maybe Dillon and Mike could sign autographs while they take selfies with everyone. This could be Gary Yeomans finest hour!

It took 236 days from order (7/28/21) to delivery (3/21/22). And it's a Lariat hybrid Lux with all the bells and whistles.

What did you end up settling on with the extended warranty?

I declined entirely the extended warranty. The salesman focused on the limitations of 3/36K BtoB as a sales pitch. Today I actually read the warranty details online and assessed that the limitations weren't something I would fret over. I still may buy a warranty after 3 years but I'll decide then.
