Finally decided to pull the trigger and get the three recalls taken care of. The dealership can now come to your residence and do the recall reprogram at your house with a computer. So far, no side effects and everything running normal.

Hit 5000 miles, rotated tires, alignment and will do a first oil change. Had some free credit from Ford when I bought the truck in Oct 2023, and dealership can also come to you to do the oil change with a special oil change truck.

Getting a hang of driving the car and got it to 50 mpg last week. Basically, drive like your grandma and pretend there’s an egg on the hood and drive like you want the egg to stay there and not fall off. I must be getting older if the joy I have is hitting 50 mpg. 😂😂

Enjoy your Mavericks!

I need to find a dealer to come over and do the 2nd Engine Fire recall programming, 23S27/23V380, only so I qualify for the Free engine replacement if mine has The issue.

Oh man. I hope it all works out. How long they say the engine swap will take?

The engine only needs to be replaced if it fails; it's not a pre-emptory engine swap.
