I took my FX4 from Tucson to El Paso last weekend, 360 miles each way. That section of I10 has some really bad areas. It was 25 in El Paso when we left Sunday. I thought it rode great, a little bit firmer than the Suburban it replaced. the burb seats were basically overstuffed lounge chairs. I don’t know what if any changes in the suspension the 4K tow package makes, but I have that too.

You might do better on the Maverick Haters club forums.
Over there they complain about:
the space BEHIND the rear seat being unusable space.
They complain that the new screen is too big and there is no place to clip on their old skool GPS.
And their feet slip off the gas pedal.

Hey Bob....go look at the gas pedal in the Maverick.....and then go look at an F-150. Tell me that gas pedal in the Mav is NOT short as hell....compared to other vehicles.

bah.

Stop whining, and be glad that Ford added a pedal. It has been less than 100 years . . .

I didn’t say it was good or bad or the end of the world. I just said it’s definitely shorter. If you use the search function, you’ll see a bunch of people complain about it. That’s all I’m saying. 🥴🥴🥴

And I'm just saying to be grateful that ford let you have one at all!

Pray Ford doesn't alter it any further.

Now I understand. I was like, “what are they going on about?” I wear a size 13 and my foot barely fits between the brake pedal and the trans tunnel. There is no way to possibly miss the gas pedal or have my foot slip off.

Yeah, where I really notice it is going back-and-forth between my Maverick and my 250. It NEVER slips off the pedal on the 250. Happens a lot in the Maverick. I mean, if you get under there and look at it, you can easily see what everybody’s talking about. 🥴🥴🥴

I gave up a Prius for my MaV. I absolutely love driving smaller vehicles because they are nimble and fit most anywhere.

So this gas peddle thing is not a thing at all for me. If a person is driving full-sized vehicles and then sits in a Mav, there are probably plenty of things in there that are too small, the gas peddle being one.

I’ve been blissfully driving my Mav to an fro and haven’t noticed a gas peddle thing.
