There are many others like it but....
OH WAAAAAAIT..... THERE AREN'T MANY OTHERS LIKE IT. 🤣 Just kidding guys. Been driving it for a week now and have put in over 1k miles already. Consistently getting 42MPG. Had the SIBL done at the dealer today. Next week is the hard trifold tonneau cover and the window deflectors
It's a XLT with CP360, 400w inverter and full size spare. When I placed the order back in August, the sales rep told me to get the SIBL and tonneau cover done there at the dealer instead of at the factory. Looking back, I'm glad he suggested that. If not, I'd still be waiting too.

UPDATE: See post# 28 for 50k update
UPDATE: See post# 45 for 100k update. Pic heavy

I wish my mpg was that high. Cold and snowy where I am. Only got 31mpg before pulling a trailer today and got 25mpg tugging 1000lbs behind it in 25F weather.

I'm guessing climate control affects when the gas kicks on from my experimentation. Causing a big loss in mpg.

Maybe I missed it on other posts, but I never noticed the hinge brackets on the tail gates not being coated with bed liner. Is there a reason they didn't do it on yours? Seems like that area is just a susceptible to scratches as the rest of the tailgate and could end up rusting.

I thought the same thing but that's how it is. Google search a Maverick with SIBL and you'll see it there. Here's one

Wow, never noticed it before but there it is. Wonder why they don't coat that part.

A member recently posted one here with a factory(I think) SIBL and it's the same way. It was a retail purchase but I can't seem to find the post.

Yes, you're right. Factory or aftermarket appear to be the same way. Never noticed it before you posted that close up. Now it sticks out like a sore thumb on every picture I see.

A little update on my Mav. I first installed 2 2x8 stacked as bed divider but that didn't really work for me. I had some plywood in the shed so I built a pull out tray. So much easier to get to the boxes on the back.

So here's my Mav build:
Hybrid XLT
CP360
Tow hitch
400W inverter
Ford All weather Floor liner
SIBL
Full size spare
FORD Hard TriFold Tonneau
Tail gate assist
Tail gate lock
Front and rear Ford mud flaps
Window deflectors
Smoke hood protector
Reflective Tail gate lettering
Front and rear dash cam
Phone holder in my cubby
infotainment screen protector

I have over 6600 miles now and consistently getting 42MPG doing manual calculation. With today's gas prices, I'm very happy with that.

Installed bed lighting today. Below are the parts I used.

LED Lighting

Switch & sockets

Push mount cable ties

I did not cut the lighting to length. I turned it inwards and stuck it on the smooth underside of the tonneau cover. Pretty bright.

Did my third oil change today and installed the Fumoto valve with extension. I was worried that it might be too low but looks like there's good clearance. The lever is at the top but that might be a good thing.

I let this one go longer between oil change at 9,500 miles. Getting 45MPG so very happy about that.

Wow, 21K miles!! I will never put that many on my Maverick if I live to 100 and I do not plan to do so.

Very nice looking. Now you have me going back to CG for my colour of choice especially if Ford keeps the CG wheels on the XLT. LOL.
