Thinking of getting a different truck.

Hi, we ordered our lariat fwd 2.5 hybrid in October. We have not heard anything from Ford. We called our dealer and he doesn’t know what is happening with it. We finally got through to Ford. They said we are on in line. We have not been able to get any information like the order number or the vin. Is there a problem with any of the parts of extras like the moonroof that could be holding up production? It would be great if you could get more information. I feel like we are getting no where.

You won’t receive a VIN until you’re scheduled. The order and sales codes are really only important if you’re trying to verify your order with Ford Marketing. If they found/verified your order you’re good. Unfortunately you’re just in a long queue.
Check the constraints threads, but hybrid is one. If you have lux or Copilot 360 those are also constraint items.

I ordered my Hybrid in July and it's just in production now. That being the norm you have a couple months still.

You should be able to get the order number from the dealership. Did you get an email from ford, an order confirmation?

I ordered in July and never heard a word from Ford. Called customer service in Mach and found out I had a vin. It just arrived a week ago.

I ordered mine in October. I called my dealer when I started to see the list of constrained options and dropped my spray-in bed liner. My dealer called me about two weeks ago to say that they had gotten a list of things holding up orders and told me I needed to drop my full size spare. I dropped it, still waiting. My dealer seems to be honest enough as car dealers go, but they just seem to have no clue about how to handle this with Ford.

It is so unpredictable! I ordered a Hybrid on July 30th, 2022 and picked up on Jan 14th. Spare tire, trailer hitch, Power Plug, C-360, moon-roof. I'd hang in there. I found the truck well worth the wait.

I know one of the local Chevy dealers around here seems to have Colorados on the lot on a frequent basis. It does seem like the October orders for Mavericks have started to roll in lately, although not my October 30 base hybrid XL.
