If you've got scheduled you won't be able to change anything at least not in my experience.
There's reports of people not being able to select the all-wheel drive option anymore so if you change it you might get stuck with a front wheel drive EcoBoost without the all-wheel drive option.

Get your Hybrid, drive it until fall and order your Eco 4x4 then sell the hybrid (probably for some extra cash) and enjoy!

Leave it. Eco like mine are being bounced around too, sorta looks like some Hybrid prioritization is happening. Regardless seems like worse thing to do at this point is make a change. Good luck

It’s not really about getting it sooner to me. I waffled around on the drivetrain so much that they finally shut *those* orders down too. But I really would like an AWD truck.

Yeah that was almost entirely the reason I wanted it as well. Not sure if I could find anyone to swap with when I finally do get my hybrid in!

Why not put in a 2nd order and see what comes first?

There are no more opportunities to place another order on a MY22.

I would not lose your spot in line so to speak. Rather I would scour various dealers, even if you have to travel a few states away for an EcoBoost that is closely equip like the hybrid you ordered.
