I ordered July 15 2021
Alto Blue Lariat FX4 4K Towing with added 400w outlet, spray in liner, full-size spare.

was completely built Nov 29th. Showed shipped Dec 1st and was suppose to be delivered Dec 15th- Dec23rd. Those days came and went and couldn’t get any info on what happened and where it went. Finally the dealership got info on why it hadn’t moved( do to a train breaking down is what I was told) on Jan 3rd I got an email saying delivery was Jan 3rd-8th those days came and went. Then was told by Jan 29th and those days came and went. I finally called ford marketing number that’s been passed around on this page on feb 18th They started a case number and I was told it would be here by the end of the month And sure enough feb 18th it came in. I would like to add with that case number they sent me a gift card to get some things for it. And my dealership even install the tailgate dampener for free.
Not the best experience with ford but my dealership has been great and I will tell you it was worth the wait!

ps if you add a tailgate dampener you will loose the driver side tailgate tie down!

Nice looking truck. I laugh at the dampened or powered tailgates. They are about as useless to me as the hatches and sliding doors that are powered. I just dont need it. I can carry hundreds of pounds and lift even more. A door or tailgate doesnt inconvience me, but waiting for them to open does.

I agree. Now, the hood hydraulic pistons on the other hand, I can see the value in and may install a set on my truck, if Ford ever builds it...

Your truck looks great. But, your post worries me. I order mine in Dec and it stared production 2/28. But based on your experience I would see my truck until May/June. Yikes.

The only reason we did one is my 8 year old tends to head butt the tailgate when he try’s to drop it lol
