Greeting Y'all.

I've been eying mavericks for the last few months or so but didn't want to order one until I checked the ergonomics (I'm 6'4 with a long torso so good fitment is hard to come by.) On my way home yesterday (I drove an old honda element) I was fighting this nasty rattle from somewhere in my dash when I looked over at the dealer and saw a mav calling my name. Surprisingly it was a lariat, has co-pilot, AND IT FITS! Checks all the boxes!

Apparently the original customer gave up on waiting and bought a ranger. I forked out about 4k over sticker but I'm content with it, the auto market just sucks right now.

Wireless car play adapter, auto dimming mirror, and blacked out ford emblems are on the way. If anyone needs a bike rack let me know, it doesn't play nicely with the backup sensors.

I went Alto Blue XLT+4k on a customer drop that I just happened across, my Focus' DPS6 had just given out (again). White was my second color choice though, with the wheels it looks clean - congrats and welcome!

Really, you probably got off easy with that 4k markup....I've seen stories about 10k markups! Congrats on your new Mav!

I’m in the $4k+ MSRP club as well after a customer turned down their order. My Mav is a huge upgrade over my one-owner 94 Ranger that was on the verge of going into hospice care. Didn’t like paying over sticker but that’s what the market is dictating right now.

Congrats to the OP for getting a really awesome truck!

Congrats, beautiful.. many people get caught up in something called an ‘ADM’, but the purchase should ultimately be about the final price, and whether the truck is a value to the buyer at that price. If in a year’s time you look back and truly love the truck, you’ll never miss or worry about the money. And by that time the MSRP of the new trucks will probably be the same as what you paid.

The problem with stuff like $4k markups is that a Lariat EB FWD with Lux package is already about $33k. This pushes it to $37k before taxes and the Maverick is just not a $37k truck. Too many other great options by that price range for the Maverick to make sense.

That said, the Maverick is an awesome truck at $30k. I am looking forward to my Lariat hybrid being delivered later this year.
