True story! You can hear the woman next to you laughing and saying "Mine's bigger!"
This happened to me when I owned a Honda Element and a guy parked next to me in a Scion xB. My toaster was bigger.True story!
Another thing no one mentions about the older small trucks (I had a 70's Toyota SR5 pickup) is you couldn't drive them at 80mph and fell safe! The Maverick has no problem on the interstates keeping up with traffic.Probably would go over well with the younger crowd.. Looks like you have to adjust the mirror by hand and probably the seat also. No ACC of may not even have AC. No sunroof of dual climate controls and the list goes on.![]()
A friend gave me some gentle ribbing for having a "baby truck". Friend has a Dodge 1500. The ribbing ended quickly when I told her I was getting 50 mpg.You can hear the woman next to you laughing and saying "Mine's bigger!"
I've had similar exchanges with guys driving much larger pickups. Although my Maverick isn't a hybrid, my gas mileage still gives the big truck drivers pause. Good things DO come in small packages. Love my Maverick!A friend gave me some gentle ribbing for having a "baby truck". Friend has a Dodge 1500. The ribbing ended quickly when I told her I was getting 50 mpg.
