Sounds like we are all in the same boat.. I ordered an XL with a sunroof on 9/22/2022.. fords maverick online tracker advised my truck was suppose to go into production week of June 20th which was last week however the Online tracker still shows my order date of sept 22nd 2021 . So looks like my Mav didn’t go into production like the website advised.

Just got the email today from dealer that I'll be receiving 2023 model, updates to follow in October.

Unless that news comes directly from Ford (and/or @fordvideoguy) I would not trust it to be accurate. Why not post up the email you got for MTC Forum to decide?

I think about my January order almost every day and I must say hope feels foolish at this point.

If Ford would ever just say how many orders there are and how many remain unscheduled, my guess is all of us still waiting would !

Bottom line: my truck ain't coming. Yours probably isn't either. At least not anytime soon.

I ordered in December. Only thing I have is the confirmation. XLT with eco boost. Simple and easy. I'm guessing it'll be December before I hear anything. I've only seen two in my area.

For what it is worth, I ordered XLT hybrid early August ‘21. Picked up at dealer mid April. Took the attitude of it will happen when it happens. Wishing you luck and patience! Love my truck!

That's the smartest attitude. Getting upset and calling or emailing every day won't get that truck there any faster.

I ordered Jan 10th. Luxury package. In May I got an email basically apologizing for the delay And trying to encourage me to remove the luxury. I called Ford that month And they found my order sitting in line. I received an email yesterday. It was nice to hear from them period. They say I have 2 options. 1.. keep my order, stay in line but I probably won’t get a 2022 without removing the lux.. 2.. starting tomorrow I can go to my dealer and accept a 2023 and keep my place in line.

Wait #1 is over. Ordered November 13th and today received the email from Ford saying it ain't gonna happen. Welcome to 2023! Now the 2nd wait begins until August to find out what the new terms will be, and then who knows how long wait #3 will be.

Dec 21 order and no VIN# yet. I have no added packages just a basic XLT FWD and do have a sunroof included. If those that have ordered before me and still hasn't received theirs or a build date I'm not very optimistic about getting mine before the end of the year.

I got the email Wednesday from Ford stating May not get a 22’ and then yesterday had good news from my dealership I have a VIN#. Hopefully you have good news too.

Had contact from my sales rep on 6/29/22 that it looked like they would have 11 of their orders picked up (was by text so elected not to question how, what but expect they were moved to priority 2) and mine was one of them so maybe a vin# will shortly be assigned. Though at this point I wouldn't mind waiting a while longer for the CHANCE of A few improvements #1 being ROOF RAILS. However when they show up I can always trade in to get them.

I was to the point if I was going to get a 23' then okay I may get more features than on a 22'. But getting a vin# and a guarantee of getting my truck this year excitement definitely overwhelmed me. Hope things work out for you!
