My son, wants to start a build and we need a good Texas dealer with no add-ons. We're in DFW, but can pick it up anywhere. Thanks

We bough from Platinum Ford. We have ordered 2 vehicles from them (Bronco and Maverick) and we were not charged a single DAO, they didn't even put the front plates or dealer badges as we requested.

We worked with Dylan Dunman (sales associate) and Paul Gardner (sales manager). They do seem to have little Maverick allocations though

I ordered mine through Five Star in North Richland Hills and picked it up a couple weeks ago, MSRP no add ons. They took the $500 Farm Bureau rebate too.

I had a great experience purchasing my 2023 Cyber orange hybrid Maverick Lariat at Leif Johnson Ford in Austin. Tim Jacobs handled everything from placing the order to handing me the key fobs. I paid MSRP minus the college student discount with no added dealer costs. I would definitely do business with them again! They are a large dealer and had a lot of allocations in 2023.

Randel Reed Planet 635 Ford in Garland. Ask For Susan Baker and her only ( She is the Internet Sales Manager) Let her know you are MEMBER of the MAV Club and that is where the referral came from. Do not try and walk in the sales area that is where the sales goons are. Keep asking for her and they will back off. I don't think they ever mess with the special orders. With her you will pay the msrp. TTL. The sales Finance guy will try and add on something called the Consumer benefit package 199.00 just tell them you don't want it. It is taken off fast If not call Susan Baker .. Our Family just bought its 8th Mav through her.I just referred a Gut to get a F150 from there. Great place to buy from

We bought at 5 Star Ford in Dallas, easy order, no markup, easy no-pressure financing. I told them not to add anything on to the truck, and they honored that. BUT, they did take the Ford reward points I earned when I bought the truck and "purchased" an oil change package with them. This was not in the paperwork I signed and not mentioned to me at the time of the order or sale. I ended up not buying a tonneau cover, so I'm fine with the result, but watch it if you plan to use the points for something other than their oil change package.

For legal reasons, the most we can specify on the dealership tracking sheet is a warning about certain dealerships.

If a dealership requires add-ons for or plays games with Retail orders, they receive a "warning." Examples are:
  • Excessive admin fees
  • Required add-ons
  • Required service contracts or other services
  • Dealer mark-up (typically designed to force you to abandon your order so they can mark it up and put it on the lot).
  • Not honoring price protection.

The dealership does not receive a warning if they charge for added dealer markups (ADMs) or required dealer add-ons (DAOs) for Stock orders or vehicles on the lot that were Retail orders not purchased by the customer who placed the order.
