TCS off for rain/ice?

I have never used TCS. Not sure why you would give this advice.
Best way to get stuck going up hill's and steep driveways is not having TCS turned off.

Didn't you just say exactly the same thing? TCS off is dumb.

Sounds like the general census is that you keep TCS on for day to day. For the times that you're driving slow and possibly getting stuck then you turn off tcs and put in slippery for best results.

No and I apologize for my poorly written post.
In my opinion, having TCS on in slippery conditions is NOT what you want.
