Sync 3- Update Version 3.4.22251 -- Anyone install successfully?

Anyone been able to install this update ? S/3 VN 3.4.22251 - I had a USB update the worked good last year but now this one just says it recognizes the USB drive but does not start installing or anything. Thx

22251 is what shows as available to download for mine, and I've had it installed a while. Probably 2 months at least?

Interesting. The Ford web site shows my 2023 Lariat has Sync 3 version 3.4.22200 installed and is up to date.

Curious if this has to do with MY22 models that are affected by the airbag recall ?

Current version for MY 2022 Lariat is 22251

If I'm Ford I would use version control so that if there's a bad bug it doesn't hit absolutely every truck and it controls the volume of update downloads too, so it's not a massive spike when everyone is able to update a version.

Ditto for me. I'm not seeing 23088 as available for my '22 Maverick Hybrid Lariat First Edition.

the op seems to have bailed on this thread, but I have a strong suspicion that he saw this on cyanogen or non-Maverick forum (there are plenty of vehicles with Sync3, it debuted like 8-9 model years ago).

I'm here - lol - Read thru that on the B/S forums- Not sure what ford is doing but now the update that wont seem to install is S/W 3.4.22251 - Truck just says S/W 22200- Will apply a different format to the USB drive as recommended and see if anything goes- Thru WI/FI - Check for update- Did nothing.

I definitely would not try to install a sync3 package for some other vehicle onto the Maverick.

Yeah got some bad info- Let me update the title- Loading a new copy of S/W 3.4.22251 and hope for the best.

I just tried it and it worked.

I have run into issues in the past with the USB not formatted correctly. It requires exFAT. You might try reformatting the drive, if that's an option.
