Infotainment.com states they have a Sync 3 for the Maverick. Anybody know if it work in a XLT to upgrade the system.

Damn, that's a pricy upgrade. I'm glad that the current system is enough for my needs.

That said, it's awesome that companies are coming out with upgrades like this. Within a few years, I expect that there will be upgrades for every imaginable component of the Maverick. Alas. it'll probably not be long until someone comes with something that I have to drop $1000 to get my hands on...

This will only add nav to an existing sync 3 lariat.
The XLT is missing the necessary wiring for this to be plug and play

A couple of guys on this thread, How To: Sync 3/4 swap for non Sync 3 XL/XLT, have done a complete add/swap of Sync 4 in a Mav. They say you can buy an APIM on eBay for around $300, maybe a little more for the Nav model. For those looking to upgrade their Mavs, it's a great thread to read.
