Does anyone know if you can (and should or shouldn’t) add sway bars to the suspension on a Maverick Tremor?

Looking under the truck, I don’t see anything that looks like a traditional sway bar, and I wonder if that’s because it would limit suspension travel too much for the off-roading capabilities this truck is designed for.

the reason I ask is that the truck tends to wallow quite a bit at higher speeds on curvy roads. I know it’s no sports car, and that the suspension is optimized for rough terrain at slower speeds, but just wondering if I have any options to tighten things up…or if that’s a bad idea even if it is possible.

Yeah, I know that I should probably have just gotten a Maverick without the Tremor package with most of my driving being on highways…but the lifted truck with the off-road tires just looks so much better than the other models. And I do have a lot of poorly maintained dirt roads near my house, and wanted to be sure I got a truck that was comfortable in those conditions too.

I do love the truck, and won’t be disappointed if I just need to get used to the squishy handling in the curves (and just drive my Focus ST when I want to be happier on fast, curvy roads).

Front sway bar is parallel to steering rack and is somewhat stiff for the tremor . With my mods I have mine disconnected now , does wallow a little on a hard corner exit under power , but some of that is the torque steer from the front wheel drive .

Get a lot more droop now and put the spring and shock to work doing exactly what they are to do without added resistance of sway bar tension in either direction.

I was wondering this same question. It's not like the trucks come with a tremendous amount of ground clearance. They will never be a rock crawler, so not sure it makes sense to worry too much about suspension travel. Stiffening up the suspension with a thicker rear sway bar will definitely take away from the offroad abilities. I just don't know how much. I would be nice to know if anyone has tried an anti-sway bar on their tremor.
