I added the Elevate rack and RokBlokz mud flaps to my ā24 Maverick Tremor.
I love the Elevate rack. Iām actually running one notch up from the lowest height. It looks kinda tall that way, but itās way more convenient to use than all the way downāand Iām less likely to hit my head in whatever is...
Hereās a shot of how it looks on the black truck when itās clean,
and a photo of how it disappears when the light isnāt quite at the right angle.
sometimes I wonder if itās too subtle, but I am happy with my choice.
Thanks. The truck is filthy right now (except where I cleaned it to put on the decals š), and the black on black is tough to capture in the light on an overcast day. Iāll post some more pics after I clean the truck and the sun comes out, maybe tomorrow.
I felt that the orange Tremor stickers on the bed of my Maverick were a bit too bright and kinda cheap looking, so I had @VinylImagination make me up some custom ones in matte black. I know they blend into the black truck and almost disappear, but I like how subtle they are.
I have the Ford hard cover and am considering that rack. Can you easily/quickly remove the rack from the rails? Or is it easier to take the uprights out of the sliding mounts? I only plan to have the rack on the truck when I want to go kayaking, so Iām looking for something I can put on and off...
Does anyone know if you can (and should or shouldnāt) add sway bars to the suspension on a Maverick Tremor?
Looking under the truck, I donāt see anything that looks like a traditional sway bar, and I wonder if thatās because it would limit suspension travel too much for the off-roading...
that looks great! Iām so glad I found your post, because Iāve been searching for a more understated alternative to the orange factory stickers on my black Tremor. Iāll definitely be looking into those decals for my Maverick.
Thanks, Joe!
I can appreciate that. š
I was lucky enough to find a truck on the lot that had the cover factory installed. I had a similar Leer tri-fold cover on a previous truck that I loved, and the Ford version on my Maverick seems to work just as well.
Hey everyone,
Iām happy to find a robust forum for the new Maverick. I just picked one up at a local Connecticut Ford dealer on Saturdayā¦and Iāve already put 600 miles on it! š
Iām a carpenter, but I only transport tools (not construction materials), and I typically drive over 100 miles a day...
