Surging of engine when started with Ford Pass

Has anyone else used Ford Pass to start their Hybrid only to have the engine start surging and have a high pitch whine? Mine was great till i hit 300 miles. Now the past few times ive used Ford Pass to remote start it, within minutes its surging and my interior starts to have a weird, not so great smell. I took it to the dealer and they cannot figure it out.

Same thought crossed my mind. Several hybrid owners reporting engine loping and foul odors while idleing. Some seeing cherry red hot catalytic converters. Could be a real black eye for Ford if it's an issue with multiple hybrid owners who have already taken delivery. It may very well be that the real reason for the hybrid delays is this problem. Hope not.

My Lariat Hybrid was built 12/28 and I took delivery last Monday 1/24. No issues thus far with surging or smell. I use it to commute and have around 500 miles on it. I have used Ford Pass to start it but also the key fob. I am monitoring for it and keeping up with these threads.
