Suddenly have Slippery mode in my 2026 Lobo

I know for a fact that prior to a couple of weeks ago, my Dec. '25 built 2026 Lobo (402a) only had five drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul, and Lobo

I just noticed this week that I suddenly now have Slippery mode as well, located all the way to the left past Eco mode.

Has anyone else noticed this recent change? I have used Forscan in the past, but I have never changed anything related to drive modes! The last thing I did in Forscan was just to turn off the rear bulb outage detection for my LED taillights.

Yes, there actually is a hidden workaround to see them. You can catch the raw data before it hits your screen by using a browser on a computer.

As a software/hardware tester by profession, I agree that one of my biggest frustrations is something that gets changed or updated without me knowing about it. Changed behavior in what I'm testing in an area that I don't expect changes in ends up being a huge time waste trying to track down if it's a new feature, or a bug that a software developer broke. Knowing what has changed is a big part of my job.

You can turn off automatic updates altogether through the app or on the center screen. Then you would just rely on getting the updates when you go in for dealer services.

I did consider doing this, but I mistakenly thought that there would be a notification somewhere to let me know when one occurs. Clearly that's not the case!

Same thing can happen, if you live in an association. Only with more RULES. Don't pay your association dues OR Fines and see what happens.
The association can force a foreclosure and sell your property.
We don't own anything we are just caretakers. Ask owners of John Deere equipment how easy it is for them to repair equipment that they thought they owned.

I did find a Ford page just now that purportedly shows the updates your vehicle has received within the last 90 days, but my VIN says no updates recorded
