I was getting ready to install a kicker hideaway HS10 but noticed these 2 things sort of in the way of the process and ideas I had. My first time looking back there sincei bought the truck less than a month ago. Where did you guys that have done this relocated them? I see a bunch of people sharing their install methods but maybe I missed it.

I will be pulling off the factory bracket for B&O woofer, just want an easy, no fuss mount.

Also, unrelated, what is the silver thing on the drivers side that looks like a radiator?

I would seriously rethink removing the B&O sub mount, with a little modification, it can be used to mount a board for your sub.

Im doing the same JB Welded Elevator Bolts as a few members here. That way I can have more space for future projects.

I have jb welded nuts, but I'm only holding up a key 500.1 amp with it. I am not sure how many it would take to securely mount a board holding a hs10 and potentially amp(s) in the future, but it's more than 4.

my truck doesn't have those modules there, so I have no idea what they are, but you can definitely visual search the part number or try the QR code and they will tell you what they are. one of them might be a trailer brake controller. it's a different part in the 25 than 22-24.

What did you modify to the mount? I was planning to use the existing mount as well when I put in a sub.

Silver thing might be the Adaptive cruise control module

You will need to cut off the angled tabs, the small ones on the sides you can just bend. Make yourself a paper template to line up with the existing holes. These holes are not threaded unless your Maverick came with a subwoofer, so you'll have to do that. Transfer your template to the mounting board. You will want to extend your board all the way down until it touches the foam pad at the bottom, as you will need to mount your subwoofer as low as possible to clear the rear seat. These pictures are from my old 23 Maverick, I just copied what I did before onto my 25 model. I used a 8" powered sub in my 23, and found it to be WAY overpowering, I had to turn the gain and response about all the way down in addition to turning the bass down on the radio. I went with a smaller 6x9 in my 25 model Maverick.

did you have an amp for your front speakers? if so I'm pretty surprised by this comment/observation.

if you were only running deck power, uh yeah, that's not very surprising a powered sub overwhelmed the front stage.

silver thing is definitely the 2025 IPMA module whether the truck has ACC or not.
Not sure if its the same thing, but I found the answer, its the module for Lane Keep assist. I'll probably relocate everything to that area, since it doesn't have a lot of slack in the wiring. Unless someone has a better way.

On my 23, I did not have an amp. On my 25, I do have a Kicker Key amp.

I'll also be using 4 JB welded bolts, but will also cut the board to sit on the existing brackets under the modules and the three threaded posts so in theory I'd have nine supports. I'll get started on it late Saturday.
