Finally had time to cut up the board, 12×24×.5 inch MDF witch cut outs, can't see the antenna on the right but its under the mat thats glued to the board. Came out pretty decent, temporarily keeping the trailer controller in the original spot, and the antenna module hanging on the existing bolt sticking out under the seat belt cover.

Next up is the wiring. Since it is a budget build i will be tapping/splicing into the harness.

Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with this set up. One hiccup was the lower mounts, I found some aluminum at work, leftovers from a door, but couldn't find nuts and bolts, had to take a trip to HomeDepot. Cut and bent them real quick, nothing super precise.

Once I get everything connected, the subwoofer will get flipped to be upside right, that will make hiding the wires simpler. But most of all, the kicker stamp would drive me wild just knowing its upside down.

Do whatever you like but to me, PVC+spray paint makes more sense than MDF with cover. I know auto are more likely ABS than PVC but PVC is a familiar medium to work with.
