I'm just wondering what is taking so long for my truck to get finally built? It's a Lariat EB FX4 with only two options: the $800 FX4 package and $495 Hot Pepper Red color. It should be very easy to build since the EB's aren't on constraint and I have very little options. Plus, the Lariat for MY24 has the previously optioned safety and luxury package as standard equipment now for less complexity on the assembly line. It was scheduled for production on Jan. 15 with a time stamp of Jan. 19 as the production date on my order tracker. I feel like it should be built at this point. Is this considered normal or am I just being impatient? Not that I need this truck right now since I currently have my nice Maverick but the anticipation is killing me!

I think most times the day of, or after the build date the truck should go from 'in production' to 'built'. That's what I've seen people say generally happens.

That being said, from what I've seen on MTC recently is a lot of waits. A lot of us with a November build dates Sat 'in production' for over a month. Mine was in production Nov 27th, and was built Dec. 24th. Then it was finally shipped Jan 7th. Mines supposed to be delivered to my dealer in Middle TN this week. I think others had even more of a wait from production->built->delivery than that. Some people thought it was because of the turn signal recall. But I'm sure Ford is the only one that has a real answer.

So I think its a complete crapshoot, there's no general timeline. And the tracker isn't accurate anyways lol.

It's not as abnormal for it to take more than a couple of days that you might think. My Maverick was one of many with a 11/13/23 build week where they went into production on-time or even several days early, but didn't update to "Built" until 5+ weeks later, near the end of December. At the time it was seemingly due to the Turn Signal recall. Odds are unless there's still some fallout from that, your status will update within a few days.

What are you really supposed to see on that modules tracking page? Mine has been in production about 5 days now but Im not seeing anything on the modules site. Is that odd?

It shouldn't be long now. I had the same build week (15 Jan), and went to the tracker last week to see that it was listed as in production. Got the notice that it was built on the 18th or 19th, and got an email at 4:54 am today that it had been shipped. Give it a few more days and then start stressing over the shipping phase!

Mine has also seemingly been stuck in production since even before last week (it moved into production the preceding week).

However, as someone noted, if you check the modules page you can get a glimpse of additional activity. For me, it appears that the modules have been activated and populated, so that's a good sign that the truck is close to completion.

My XL hybrid was in production for four weeks (sure part of it was the turn signal recall). And then another four weeks from built to shipped. When I ordered July 18, I did not expect it to arrive until April or May at the earliest. So, still ahead of schedule - when it gets here, it gets here.

Your truck was scheduled "the week of 1/15". Not the day of 1/15
1/19 is still "the week of 1/15".

If it went to the body shop then add a few more days. It will be done soon.

I was scheduled for January 15th also and it showed up in production a few days early and then the end production date changed on the image below.

I've been in production 7 days and no modules showing. Should I be concerned? On the modules page do I need to download some file or do they just appear on the page?

I also put my vin into fordpass but the app says no connectivity yet

As far as I know, the info will just appear in the tables, no need to download the file. Should look something like this... Beyond that I'm not sure what the holdup could be.

I'm in the same boat. Mine showed "in production" on the 12th. The date showed up on the 20th and my modules were active on the 21st. Somehow it's still not "built".
