I've only found one brand that declares it is for a Maverick

Stubby Antenna

Are there others?

How tall is the Maverick's factory antenna? Is it more than 2 inches? Does it not work as well as "Stubbys" do?

The factory one does look ridiculous but I feel like these stubbys should be a $10 item at most, they are just gonna degrade the signal. Screwing a flang bolt in that sits flush would prob do the same thing.

Ultimate stubby for free 99 :ROFLMAO: Works as expected with minimal reception but if you dont use the radio then guess it doesnt matter.

Factory antenna is 4-5 inches. It works fine. Some, including myself, don't like the look of a big antenna on a small truck. There's also the concern of running it through a car wash and having it damaged. I have the stubby and have had no issues with reception.

I prefer the Shark Fin style. Unfortunately most aftermarket ones don't support satellite radio. The one on my coupe works great!

I’ve had zero issues with signal degradation with my cravenspeed, IMO looks whole lot better than factory antenna. Well worth the small $ to me. Car wash is some what valid concern with factory one but mine will never go through a car wash so that wasn’t a concern for me

Been through the carwash half a dozen times so far with no issues. For any of you who grew up in the 80's with a Nintendo...I like the factory antenna, makes me feel like it's a truck from RC Pro Am game hahaha. To each their own.
