Strange Release Valve ???

I have a 2023 Maverick hybrid XLT with 23000 miles..
Anyone knows what exactly what's this for?Is located on the right side of the engine right below the brake fluid container, attached to the top of the aluminum block.It looks like some kind of release valve,I noticed from a while is getting black residue around...has a rubber on top and slightly oil came out.

Looks like it sits on the transmission case, so transmission fluid residue.

I wonder if that is the Hybrids only vent? The EB's is under the air filter box but it has a cap on it to keep the debris out. I have not bothered looking at the service manual for any other potential vent locations.

The manual didn't show any other. The hybrid transmission seems compact.

Breather vent for transmission.if you want it cleaner add a hose , turn it 90 degree upward and re add valve/cap to it , about 6”vertically, tyrap to upper engine compartment.
Want more protection add small k&n breather to end take as high as possible and put rollover loop into hose and occasionally clean.
Do this for all my bronco and truck axle and transfer case and trans breathers for last 35 years , extending high for water crossings and those 40 mile dirt road adventures and silted mishaps!
