JetFixxxer is right, power mirror means the mirror adjustments are powered. Auto folding is a separate feature and not available on any Mavericks.

no, and yes.

yes it is extremely beneficial on huge standoff mirrors like you see on a heavy duty truck.

no, it's not limited to that. many japanese luxury cars have folding mirrors because they get parked in tight conditions, or you actually drive past a narrow clearance, and it keeps your mirrors from getting ripped off.

I've actually used the power folding mirrors on my CX-5 to avoid being blinded by the sun during my bumper to bumper morning commute. The sun would always find the perfect angle to burn my eyeballs as it was rising from the horizon

It means you don't have to roll down the window, stick your arm outside of the truck and adjust the mirror by hand.

Wish my 2015 CX-5 had this as both my daughters learned to drive (and park in a garage) on it and so I have replaced the passenger side mirror twice now.

I fold the mirrors in on my Maverick where ever I park here in Alamos. The inches makes a difference. Too many observable casualties on a daily basis... A 360 year old town with very narrow streets with many tourists who drive too fast and and aren't prepared for the neck-down sections of the road or young impatient motorcycle operators that are always trying to sneak by cars passing on the left or the right side...

My 2002 Passat GLX Wagon had mirros that auto folded once you put the car in park and turned off the ignition. Enjoyed that feature.

No. I've got power folding mirrors on a 2013 Optima. As far as I know this function is for tight parking spaces and folding them in for the carwash.

True. Also I thinking auto folding mirrors just adds another thing than can break easily so I actually prefer the manual option on this one.

A little trick. You can get power mirrors on the XL. If you order the co-Pilot 360 it brings power mirrors because to have the blind spot warning light the mirrors have to be powered.
