Since there are a few here that have their mavericks already it would be really nice if you all could provide some info that is not out on the internet yet.

Door Speaker diameter (inches) -
Door Speaker Max mounting depth (inches) -

Dash Tweeter diameter (mm or inches) -
Dash Tweeter Max mounting depth - (mm or inches) -

Rear pillar speaker diameter (inches) -
Rear pillar speaker Max mounting depth (inches) -

Can someone who has their truck already and is in the process of doing audio or has done, please be so kind as to provide the above information. It looks like Crutchfield has still not updated to include the maverick in its database and considering the rarity of the truck it might be a while.

Thank you.

It’s definitely touched on in posts, but here’s the run down:

Front Doors: 6.5" round - depth 1 5/8 (you can fit deeper but not by much)
Rear C-Pillar: 4" round - unsure of exact depth, but you’ve got space in the speaker cut out in the frame
Front Dash Tweeters: 1.5" round housing with 1" round driver. depth is kind of inifinite depending on what you do here, but if trying to leverage the stock clips -photo of stock tweeter depth:

Thank you I am going to build my own components from partsexpress.com and madisound.com so I can get the exact driver properties I want and those measurements are very helpful.

Also, for wiring harness the metra 72-5602 works for the 6.5 and the 72-5600 (or 5601, I think one has reverse polarity and one doesn’t)…. The speaker connects work on the tweeters but are too small for 4” speaker posts (but the adaptor itself works, just gotta replace the negative connector)

Would these be a good upgrade for the pillars?
Kicker 46CSC44
CS Series 4" 2-way car speakers

They also have the 6.5 for the front. Thinking about the set

I Don't need a major upgrade to the sound but would like a little better bass response.
