I've not seen one in use but from the pictures it seems fairly large.
I'm sure it's helpful for somebody that's getting in and out of there truck bed daily.
The way I see it when it's folded up it is taking up about 1/3 to 1/2 of a very small tailgate.
This is a Universal product.
The attached photo shows it attached to an F-150 I would imagine on a Maverick it would be pretty close to ground level.

Interesting....doesn't take up much room folded and would provide a seat to put on waders and boots when I'm fishing.
