I’ve decided (my wife) that when we see another Maverick to give the owner of that vehicle a toy horse (Maverick) kinda like the jeeps and the little ducks, just thought it would make friends of Maverick owners
I bought a tube of little horses at Hobby Lobby

But how many people that own the Ford Maverick associate their vehicle with a cow instead of a horse?
Just wondering?
My immediate thought when I seen the vehicle I thought ( cool vehicle love the name sound like a bucking bronce)

If you're going to do something like this, just lean into it and make stickers of Tom Cruise from TopGun.
I'm a little confused. 🤔
Tom Cruise and Top Gun do not have any lineage to Ford and the original Maverick.

Pretty sure they are referring to the term Maverick in general, not necessarily your pin.

And my question is.
Other than the word maverick.
How do you relate them to Ford Maverick the truck? I do not see the tie-in.
When I saw the original Top Gun this did not come to mind when I heard Tom Cruise called Maverick.

This was the original impetus for Tom Cruise's call sign.

Hot take: Even though I am old enough to remember its existence, personally I have zero sentimental attachment to that car and would not associate it with my truck at all.

Judging by the number of people around here with "Goose" stickers on their trucks, James Garner avatars, and so on - I am not sure there needs to be any lineage or logic applied whatsoever. But to each their own.

I had a 1972 Ford Maverick, factory painted Red white and blue with a 302 V-8
Wonder little car, the engine was bulletproof, it always ran like a top
Was that the "Maverick Grabber"?
Did it have hood scoops?
