Start of Production for 2023 Maverick will now begin on November 23

I just got of the phone with Ford. My First Edition Lariat is now pushed to Nov 18th and will be a '23, my wife's XLT is pushed to Dec 19th and will also be a '23. The support agent said they have 6900+ Hybrids with transmission constraints that will be getting moved to '23 and prioritized ahead of the '23 orders. We did our initial orders in Sept 21.

Never received a vin for the 22 FX4 I ordered... ordered a 23 Tremor 9/19... received conformation email from FORD the next day and nothing since... spoke with my salesman who says the 23 us ordered... any way to find out when/if it will be pulled to be built???

As of now...Your 1st Edition MY22 pushed to Nov.18 should be built. If not, they will not build 1st Editions MY23, by definition it can't be a second year. Your wife's will be canceled and converted to a MY23 order. But Ford has done a lot of weird crap, so who knows.

PA Outdoorsman is absolutely correct.You will be cancelled and can HOPE to be built in '23.

Let's also employee some logic:

Any new builds to be scheduled will likely NOT be any of these, 'to be cancelled -pushed 'til December hybrids'.

The scheduling is today, 10/24 for the weeks of 11/28-to-12/19

And the to-be-cancellation process has not happened yet. Therefore, the '22 to '23 hybrid group could not be included.

On top of that, The plant will be closed for the weeks of 11/7 and 12/26.

aka: the best the hybrid group that previously had VINS and build weeks can hope for, is a Jan'23 start.

VIN's get issued when you get scheduled. Probably 3 to 7 months. Ford has cut back sending emails (except sorry for waiting) until you get scheduled. All you can do is wait and bug your dealer.

Check with Ford chat. I had been bumped to an 11/21 build date last week and now moved to 12/19 according to Ford chat...Very disappointed
