While futzing around with my Apple Watch control center (Watch 9/WatchOS 26.4), I discovered a way to start my ‘23 Lariat via the watch, without needing to open the app on the watch or the phone. This may be old news to some, but for those looking for a way to remote starts their ride, this is the next best thing than a fob.
QUICK STEPS: click the “Side” button (not the Digital Crown). On my what, this is the lower of the two. Scroll to the bottom, click “Edit”, then the “+” in the upper left corner. Scroll to the bottom, and under the section “on your iPhone”, there will be FORD (make sure you have the Ford app installed on both your phone *and* watch). Click on it and decide what options you want.
I’ve been using this for over a week and it works great.
