what caused the CV axle wear?

Apparently, it’s a known thing with the Maverick. It either happens just before the warranty is up or just after. I already got one replaced two weeks ago and my dealership said that even though Ford knows about it, they want one replaced at a time and only if the customer is complaining about the shaking. Apparently it has something to do with weaker parts, but the new part is stronger.

The newer part is longer, that's all we know right now.

LPT - if you don't use the Ford app often enough it may sign you out and ask you to re-authenticate before you can use it. If I'm relying on my watch to remote unlock, I always make sure to use the watch to lock it first as well.

A good password manager can help reduce this pain. Even if you use the app frequently you’ll still have to reauthenticate at least occasionally. I open FordPass on my phone at least every other day and still had to log back in twice recently

I've tested it and… IT WORKS! So does this make it more valuable then my Rolex

Thanks for posting this! I totally forgot that I had the App on my watch! It does make it a bit easier doing the remote start and a great way to check if I remembered to lock the Shadow Unicorn!
