Hi

Is there any way to keep sport mode always on when restart or do I have to put it in sport mode at every start?

Most of my driving is city.

This might be the only thing I don’t like about my Maverick. There is no way to make either eco or sport modes the default. Weird, but true.

ok thanks. It's not a big deal. I suspect it's harder on the engine if left in sport mode driving at high speeds maybe.

I'm only remembering to put mine back in Eco about half of the time. Oddly, I don't really notice any difference at all between normal and eco. In my Civic, when I put it in eco, it was a noticeable difference in both the accelleration and in the way the hvac ran. I almost feel like the modes in the Maverick are just the fun images on the screen and not really doing anything to the drive

Try going up a big hill. You'll see the difference...

The transmission also shifts way sooner on Eco.

Eco in the Maverick makes the regen brake more aggressive and the engine slightly less responsive on the low end. If you've got a lead foot you wont notice anything.

I've been driving this thing like a grandma so far. Not trying to hypermile or anything, but I aim for 40mpgs each trip. At this point, it's been mostly my highway commute.

I definitely notice a difference in gas mileage in eco vs normal, def notice a difference with sport and I know slippery works to get me unstuck in new snow…. Fun images maybe, but they do “something” different than each other

I'm sure the modes do make a difference. I'm likely not noticing much due to near-perfect driving conditions here and the fact that I really haven't gone that far yet!
