Sounds like a rollover order? Today that’s a $31.5k build, where Model Y Long Range (which most order if they qualify for the rebate) is $53k or around $46k after the tax incentive. $15k is still a heck of a lot more for a car, but ya know half of your $30k estimate.
Actually 32,535 build - less $3000 off Msrp (granger rocks) - less $1750 rollover pco - less $500 farm bureau. About 27,285. Not too bad.
OP said they aren’t qualifying for the rebate so I say almost $30k difference is what it is.

I like the idea of a Maverick, especially at its 2022 pricing, but saying another car has shitty paint is a pot calling the kettle black.
Tesla paint is another level of bad though. Their showroom models have orange peel so bad you would think I can-sprayed them in my garage. I was considering a model Y before the Maverick, but after a close look and a test drive I was so disappointed at what you get for 60-70k it's not even a consideration for me.

There is an ignore section in the different topics too. So you can ignore non Maverick discussion, and not see this instead of wasting your time complaining about seeing them. Id probably ignore Maverick against the competition too, while you’re at it.
Well if you people would stop quoting me I won’t have to keep coming back

With the recent price drop, I went ahead and ordered a Tesla Model Y Performance. I know, not the same vehicle or price. I already have a truck so the Maverick was just an extra vehicle for gas saving. The Tesla will deliver in about 1 month, I have no idea when the Maverick will be here.... I will check out the Maverick when it delivers, if it ever does... Mostly for the wife but with an EV, Bronco and a truck I don't see much need for the Maverick anymore.
Would you like a medal? Here…have this medal.

Ok, I've decided to buy a dealership and now I can drive a different car or truck everyday! Seriously though, we've been living in an era where owning multiple vehicles makes a lot of sense. Having a big vehicle to tow, haul, carry people, and for long trips is hard to replace. Also having a very efficient hybrid or EV for commuting to work and local driving is perfect for that job. I've been driving a Chevy Volt (I know oh the humanity, a chevy and an EV) Best car I've ever owned, 180 lifetime mpg is going to be hard to give up but it's time to upgrade to something newer. Maverick hybrid is going to feel like a gas guzzler in comparison. Saving money at the pump is nice, but being able to go a couple of months between fill ups was liberating. Cold, rainy, feeling lazy, in a hurry? No problem just stop next week and top if off. The point is EVs, hybrids and ICE vehicles all serve different purposes. So if someone is able to afford the right tool for the job, why not?
I drive a Volt as my other vehicle. I tell people the Maverick hybrid is my gas guzzler. Together, they make a great combination.

I rent a big vehicle when I need one, I don't need to own one.

You wouldn't comment in the first place if you ignored the topics. If you don't go ahead and do that, you're gonna keep seeing them, complaining, and then complaining again when we remind you that you can opt out of them :)

Perhaps you could take some of your own advice and ignore my comments
I think maybe I’ll continue viewing and commenting and maybe even complain a bit as I see fit

Ford makes good trucks but sucks at just about everything else.

Waiting 420 days for my truck...which is finally in build but I still have not got my private offer. Yes I qualify and have the COVP, watched Tims video on private offers with my sales person, searched for it under every name, misspelling, phone number and email. Salesperson called Ford marketing to special dealer line and they keep referring him to the AWOL sales and inventory specialist. Ford is dissing the dealers but a fish rots from the head and this entire experience stinks. Makes sense why dealers are not following Ford pricing guidelines as they have to spend hours fixing fords messed up convoluted process with minimal profit on retail orders

Based on your, uh, posting history (7) you've made an indelible mark on these forums with your demeaning and condescending tone.
I’m offended you didn’t critique my post history
Or did you and find that I am contributor?

I feel I also need to state that this thread must have been posted in a different section originally as I never look in the misc section (those don’t seem to populate in the “recent posts” section at the very top, maybe they do but I feel like they don’t)
I don’t go into non Maverick sections looking for fights
I’m only here for the Mavericks

Which happens to be the worst built car in the US at this point
100% true. 250 problems per 100 new cars. There's more than one reason they are slashing prices.

All good points. EV is not for everyone. ROE on an EV is not there yet but getting close. Fuels do go up/down in price so you never know. The real benefit is fueling at home, diversifying your transportation fuel, little to no maintenance, less dealer dealings and driver experience.
Less maintenance for sure but how far do you have to go when it does need service?
