I read every single post and not one told you the Mav Hybrid is a POS. The dead battery, the recalls, the shudders, the hood vibrates, the thin cheap paint, no good stock Continentals, the freezing infotainment, and on, and on.

Sell it me and because it's a POS and you're so far away, I will have to give you $5k less than what you're paying for it. Let me know who I make the check out to.
That’s funny! I used to sell/trade my extra firearms at gun shows and there was always “that guy” there who would trash talk my stuff then offer a low-ball price. My standard response was something like: “it’s obviously too crappy for you to even consider, so you better go find one that meets your standards”. That usually shut them down quickly 😂.
PS: I understand you were making a joke and not seriously doing “the thing”. 😁

My best advice, and I really could not possibly be more serious about this, is "Forget every single thing you have read at Maverick Truck Club." Not kidding. I LOVE MTC, don't know how I'd have gotten through the year-long wait without it, but if you ingest too much of the recalls, the whines, the "why didn't Fords..." and the problem posts, you'll hesitate to get into the truck and spend your time worrying over every bump, creak, ping or whatever. "OMG, is this (whatever I just read about on MTC?!?!)"

Just....get in and drive. ENJOY this marvelous contraption, drive it like you drive any other vehicle you've ever owned and enjoy the living crap out of it. There's a huge percentage of the population on this planet that'd give their right arm to be driving your Mav, enjoy the stunning privilege and delight of what you're doing, and just have FUN.

I have seen lots of good advise here on MTC. I often drove a 2014 Fusion Hybrid and briefly co-owned it due to inheritance. We all competed for the highest mileage score. You are about to discover how many friends need something hauled in your truck, lol!

I am expecting delivery of mine between 2/12 & 2/18. I initiated the transfer from savings to checking today. It's a hybrid AWD Lariat in Azure Grey. I'll be taking off the wheels and replacing with steel OEM & AT tires due to my wet land. I can't even get my Nissan Versa through my land since it is raining here in KY again. (Think of Elvis singing "Kentucky Rain")

I bought a bed roll bar, roll up bed cover, wheel arch protectors, mud flaps and auxiliary lights for these twisty country roads. I also bought the Rough Country 2.5 lift kit as even my Superduty dragged on my land. Due to my knees and mud, I mostly drive my F-350 as the Versa is a manual. It's tough to climb up into some days though. 😕
