I checked on my 3 September Maverick order today, and the nice lady there was really surprised to see that I have a VIN number before I'm scheduled. She said I'm put down as scheduled 8 August, with an ETA in mid September. Then she said I had a VIN and gave it to me. She said she'd never seen a VIN prior to scheduling before.
Edited by OP: I phrased that poorly. She told me I wasn't yet scheduled, but that my scheduling would be performed 8 August. I left the voice chat very confused. It seems strange that they would schedule the week on which you're going to be scheduled.
